EARLY Teams, during the upcoming years, EARLY will be transitioning away from the discontinued LEGO® Motorized Simple Machines Kit to the new LEGO® Simple & Motorized Mechanisms Kit.  During this transition, EARLY will develop dual missions, using the existing Simple Machines Kit and the new Mechanisms Kit, for each season that will consist of similar mission themes, fields, and objects but mission carriers will differ because they will be constructed from the two different kits.
